The Four Agreements.

1. Be Impeccable with your Word
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the Word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your Word in the direction of truth and love.

2. Don’t Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

3. Don’t Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

4. Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

I love the Four Agreements. I printed them out and am putting them next to my door in my bedroom, just to remember.

Okay, so update on all things big and small in the village life. I went to London last weekend and it was really incredible. London is my favorite city in the whole world and, if it weren't for the weather, I would love to live there and work for a magazine. Luckily, the weather was sunny and relatively warm--thank you weather gods.

Tomorrow I'm going on another long field trip with the little kids. We are going to Gibraltar, leaving Posadas at 6:30 am--insert head slap here..way too early--it's technically under UK jurisdiction but Spain wants it back, it should be a really interesting experience, apparently there are monkeys everywhere. Vamos a Ver.

On Friday morning, i'm catching a train to Sevilla because Maria Bravo (my favorite teacher) invited me to go to the beach in Huelva, where she lives. A couple of other teachers are going and I'm sure it'll be a fun weekend. I'm not sure when we are coming back because it's Feria in Posadas and we have Friday/Monday off school.

And just to keep the traveling in overdrive, i'm going to Paris the following weekend.

Then before you know it, I will be attempting to make it back to the United States on June 4th. Why is it going to be an attempt? Because I have 2 massive suitcases and a massive backpack. I think they all outweigh me by hundreds of pounds lol. I have to take drag them to the train station, take a train, drag them to the bus to get to the airport, and then lug them to the check in desk. I really don't want to be in the airport overnight but I don't think there is any other way since my flight leaves at 7:30 am. Luckily, I've become pretty capable at travel glitches. However, I am really excited because I get into Phoenix around 5:45 pm and I can actually CALL Amy to wish her a happy birthday :) That makes me really happy--I miss talking to you guys.

Alright, i'm STARVING. So i'm going home and then going to a tutoring session, playing tennis with a student, and grabbing a coffee with Maria Bravo.

Adios
